Launching of the B2B and Market Place Portal – Iraq Companies

Iraq Companies is a bilingual (English/Arabic), Market Place and B2B portal. This Iraqi online business portal has launched recently. The project is designed, developed, managed and funded by CANADA HITECH as part of the plan of targeting the emerging markets in the Middle East. Iraq is the fastest growing market in the world in 2012 with 12% economy growth, and with expectation of 9% growth per year for the coming 10 years.

This business portal offers recent business news of Iraq, events and exhibitions covarage, photo gallery, video gallery sections for the visitors. At the news section of the website, visitors will get recent business news of Iraq, in both English and Arabic language.The overall website is easy to navigate and user-friendly.

The Business Directory has been divided into two divisions:
  • Iraqi Companies
  • International Suppliers To Iraq

These two sections have several companies and business names from Iraq and rest of the world.

SaraCMS media center edition has been used to build this dynamic bilingual (English/Arabic), Market Place and B2B web portal. The system is based on Microsoft Technologies ASP.NET, & MS SQL server 2008 R2. Initially, custom Web Hosting package has been used for hosting the portal.

The portal is visually attractive and received a lot of attention, and many registered users and companies, since the alpha launching.
